Aid
If
you are a UK taxpayer remember to complete the Gift
Aid Declaration or call or email to let us know that we can claim
back tax, increasing any donations by you by 28%.
This means that a donation of £10 would be worth £12.82
all at the expense of the taxman and not you!
If you are no longer a taxpayer and have completed a Gift Aid declaration, just call us to let us know.
If you are a higher rate taxpayer you can claim a further 17% of your donation on your tax return from the Inland Revenue. If you have any questions about this please contact.
Donations
of Shares
Charitable gifts of shares are free from capital gains tax and donors
can also claim income tax relief on the full market value of the donated
shares. This tax relief applies no matter what the total value of the

Payroll
Giving
Making a donation through your payroll is really simple. The donation
gets taken from your pay before you pay tax on it, so for every
£1 you donate, it only costs you 78p! Speak to your payroll
department and ask them to deduct your donation from your salary.
