Welcome to the
Garden Café
We are a a vibrant community café which is open to all. Situated within The Thistle Foundation, the Café is a social enterprise run by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
Open six days a week, we offer a tasty and nutritious menu at very reasonable prices. All our food is freshly prepared on the premises, and there’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a warming meal, a simple snack or would just like to sample our delicious homebaking. Our welcoming space is fully accessible and family friendly, and offers stunning views of the Thistle Community Wildlife Garden. We are also a café with a conscience, offering fair-trade teas and coffees and using fair-trade, free-range or organic ingredients where possible. We cook with fresh produce, often using delicious items grown by our very own Garden Team. We also keep waste to a minimum, recycling and reusing when possible, and composting what we can.
The Garden Café also provides the catering for Wighton House Conference Centre.
